Luxury real estate brokers Tal and Oren Alexander and their brother Alon were convicted on federal sex trafficking charges.

According to combined media reports, the brothers were found guilty after a five-week trial in which prosecutors called 10 rape accusers to testify against the Alexanders. The accusers claimed they were drugged, groped or raped by the brothers between 2008 and 2021.

None of the women previously reported the Alexanders to the police. But investigations into the brothers began in June 2024 when accuser Kate Whiteman filed a civil lawsuit accusing Alon and Oren of raping her at a Hamptons estate. Whiteman’s lawsuit led to other civil lawsuits and a federal investigation that resulted in the brothers being arrested in December 2024.

More than 60 women say they were raped by one or more of the brothers, according to prosecutors, with the attacks occurring at vacation resorts in the US and on a Caribbean cruise.

Tal and Oren Alexander were brokers at Douglas Elliman before starting their own firm Official in 2022. Alon Alexander is an executive with the family’s private security firm. The brothers are the sons of high-profile Miami developer Shlomy Alexander.

The Alexanders’ attorneys attempted to convince the jury that the accusations against the brothers did not meet the legal definition of sex trafficking. Deanna Paul, a lawyer for Tal Alexander, stated, “The government wants you to be so horrified by some of the testimony that you forget what they have to prove.”

The Alexanders face the possibility of life in prison. Sentencing has yet to be scheduled.

  3. I receive email news from WRE on a daily basis and it’s always “Real Estate Bob was convicted…” “Real Estate Joe was found guilty of…”

Can this service just start posting relevant real estate news for brokers and agents who DO follow the law?

  4. Would be nice to see stories about good & ethical agents, but it is also important to expose bad UN-ethical agents. Business success does not necessarily mean an ethical person, nor does a struggling agent mean an ethical person, but our Industry really does love to shower praise on the Big Bucks earners, and many of them have turned out to be total criminal sleezes (with a Top Agent award!).

I am more interested in the parents and friends who showed up to support these 3 Bros. What are their financial connections? They are very rich (developers) and do charities, but charities mean nothing in terms of defining a donor’s character, as both good and bad people give to charities, and criminals often do high profile charities as a cover.

IN the 2026 Epstein release, the 3 Alexander Brothers are “alleged” to have visited Epstein’s NY residence where an underaged girl was lured. Would be interesting to know if other family members were to Epstein.

My guess is that the global financial crimes are what is being hidden by Trump refusing to release the files (UNredacted). Biden was NOT allowed to release the files because Maxwell was still appealing her conviction, but that ended last summer, but still Trump is refusing to release all the files (UNredacted). Gotta have loads of info that many want hidden, but I think it is more financial crimes. We may never know. Bondi is considering a at a Bonfire for the remaining Epstein files. Bring your marshmallows but keep a distance as the flames will be large.
