Forewarn LLC, a provider of real-time information solutions for real estate agents, announced a partnership with Las Vegas Realtors that will enable its services to be offered for free to the organization’s roughly 16,000 members.

Forewarn’s services are available both online and through a mobile application. According to the company, it can analyze billions of data points and provides users with the ability to mitigate risks by verifying identity, searching for criminal histories, and validating information provided by potential clients using a phone number.

“Our organization is committed to ensuring our members have access to resources that strengthen both their safety and their professional success,” stated George Kypreos, president of Las Vegas Realtors. “Forewarn provides a simple and effective way for agents to verify prospect identity in seconds. By making Forewarn available to our members, we are helping them reduce uncertainty, mitigate potential threats, and focus on serving their clients with greater peace of mind.”

Forewarn is a subsidiary of the technology provider Red Violet Company (NASDAQ:RDVT).

  1. As a female Realtor in a resort area, I believe this is one of my most valuable tools. There are so many scammers. Checking names & phone numbers helped me determine a land listing scammer, kept me from a potentially dangerous individual, and can help identify if the prospect is “for real”. Wishing all the best to the Las Vegas folks. I am sure they deal with some sketchy situations.
