The former Carmel-by-the-Sea, California-based home of iconic actor and director Clint Eastwood was sold for $18.55 million.
The Wall Street Journal reported the property was listed in August for $21 million by Frederick O’Such, a retired investor who bought the property from Eastwood I 1996 for about $2.25 million. Eastwood lived at the property from 1981 to 1996 and was mayor of Carmel from 1986 to 1988.
The 4,400-square-foot residence was built in 1924 and is located one block from the Pacific Ocean. It encompasses four bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms, and it is based in a gated 11,000-square-foot lot. The purchase price reportedly included several of the home’s custom furnishing.

I EDM 82 YEAR OLD MAN AND A STAGE 4 CANCER FREE PATIENT THANKS TO MR EASTWOOD.
WHEN I HEARD HIM SAY “DON’T LET THE OLD MAN IN” HE CHANGED MY CHANCES OF SURVIVAL FROM 40% TO 100%.
FROM BARELY BEING ABLE TO GET OUT OF BED I NOW SWIM IN THE PACIFIC OCEAN TWICE A DAY FOR 30 MINUTES EACH TIME.
THE WATER TEMPERATURE IS 60 DEGREES AND I DO NOT WEAR A WET SUIT AND ONLY A WATER PROOF CAP TO KEEP MY HEAD WARM.
I AM VERY ENERGETIC, DO NOT USE A WALKER OR A CANE OR ANYONES ARM TO HOLD ME UP.
TO ALL OF YOU WHO READ THIS, PLEASE FOLLOW CLINT’S WISDOM AND “DO NOT LET THE OLD MAN IN” TO YOUR ATTITUDE OR BODY.
I DID AND AFTER 14 YEARS OF CANCER MEDS I AM COMPLETELY OFF OF ALL MEDICATION AND HAVE THE ENERGY THAT I HAD WHEN I WAS 40.
MR. EASTWOOD, GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY AND ALL WHOM YOU LOVE.
