A total of 3,462 homes were sold in Kentucky during November, a 16.6% drop from October but also a 4.3% year-over-year increase.
According to data from Kentucky Realtors, the state offered 4,425 new listings last month, a 27.8% decline from October but also a 2% increase from November 2023. The average days on the market for a list home was 20, compared to 14 one year earlier.
Kentucky’s median sales price in November was $267,500, a 0.93% uptick from the previous month and an 8.1% rise from one year earlier.
“Even with the slowdown of the holiday season, these numbers illustrate the strength of Kentucky’s housing market,” said Barb Curtis, president of Kentucky Realtors. “The increases in sales and prices show that demand is still solid, and buyers are remaining confident. Looking forward into the new year, we are very optimistic about the opportunities for buyers, sellers, and realtors across the Commonwealth.”
