A Virginia real estate agent who was indicted for construction fraud in July is now facing two additional felony construction fraud charges.

Last September, the Augusta County Sheriff’s Office launched an investigation into Amy Argenbright of A&Co 2002 LLC for alleged construction fraud. The investigators found the single-family residence remained incomplete after six years despite the victim paying Argenbright $366,000 in advance.

Argenbright was indicted by the Augusta County Grand Jury indicted Argenbright for failure to perform promise for construction in return for advances. Argenbright was released on an unsecured bond, with a trial set for February.

The Augusta Free Press reports two additional felony construction fraud charges were brought against Argenbright last week on separate cases. Argenbright is accused of feloniously obtaining more than $1,000 from two different homeowners with the promise to perform construction, removal, repair or improvement of a building but failing to do so.

Last month, Argenbright told the court she was trying to raise money to hire an attorney, adding she had no income based on her indictments and was facing foreclosure on her home.
