Bluegrass Realtors has named Richard Gibbens as the new CEO for both the association and the Imagine MLS in Lexington, Kentucky.
Gibbens was previously executive director for Southwest MLS, a wholly owned subsidiary of New Mexico’s Greater Albuquerque Association of Realtors. Earlier in his career, he led the Central Panhandle Association of Realtors as the MLS director.
Gibbens, who will begin his new role in late July, replaces Justin Landon, who left to become CEO of the MetroTex Association of Realtors, which encompasses five locations around the Dallas Metropolitan area.
“We are glad to have Richard join us in Kentucky,” said Randy Newsome, president of Bluegrass Realtors. “The momentum we have built at Bluegrass Realtors to be on the national stage should continue with Richard as he has built that same platform with his previous organization. I would also like to thank Todd Hyatt for leading the search committee to find the right candidate to lead our association.”
