The world’s tallest residential development, Dubai’s Burj Binghatti Jacob & Co. Residences, has begun sales on its luxury units.
Billed as a “Hyper-Tower,” the property is a collaboration between the Emirati developer Binghatti and the jewelry brand Jacob & Co., was first announced in November as a 100-story structure consisting of two- and three-bedroom luxury units – or, in the sales language of the property, “villas” – along with “Fleurs de Jardin Sky Mansions” and “Diamond Sky Mansions” that occupy entire half-floors and also come with their private pool. The property’s “Astronomia Sky Penthouse” extends across an entire top floor while the “Billionaire Sky Penthouse” occupies two floors and overlooks the entire Dubai cityscape.
The developers have not announced a timeline when construction will be completed and occupancy can begin. When it opens, the Hyper-Tower will surpass the current tallest residential property, the 98-story Central Park Tower in New York City.
“What Binghatti has done in real estate, by creating a brand through a distinct design philosophy and architectural identity is very similar to what Jacob & Co has done in the world of jewelry and horology,” said Binghatti CEO Muhammad Binghatti. “Both our brands are born from the sheer desire to achieve what breaks boundaries.”
