Sun Communities Inc. (NYSE: SUI), a real estate investment trust with a 670 developed manufactured housing, RV and marina properties, announced the appointments of Jerry Ehlinger and Craig A. Leupold to its board of directors.
Ehlinger most recently he served as global head and chief information officer of public securities at Heitman Real Estate Investment Management. Prior to that, he was head of U.S. public securities at Heitman, responsible for the operations of the U.S. REIT business. Earlier in his career, he served as the head of real estate securities, Americas and U.S. portfolio manager for RREEF, responsible for overseeing all areas of the company’s REIT investment management business in the U.S.
Leupold is currently the CEO of GSI Capital Advisors, an investment manager with expertise in publicly traded real estate securities. Prior to that, Leupold spent 27 years at Green Street Advisors, the last 12 as the firm’s CEO.
