1st Century Bank, the Los Angeles-based division of the privately-owned MidFirst Bank, announced its expansion into the San Diego market.
This endeavor is being led by Jason Shidler, who joins 1st Century Bank as senior vice president and senior managing director. Shidler most recently served as First Republic Bank’s deputy regional managing director, and he brings with him a team that specializes in commercial real estate, commercial and industrial lending, not-for-profit lending and private wealth management for high-net-worth individuals and their businesses.
