EQ Office, the U.S. office portfolio company of Blackstone (NYSE:BX), has hired Merredith Treaster as its senior vice president for Northern California.
Treaster will be based in San Francisco and will be responsible for the company’s Northern California portfolio totaling 1.4 million across the Bay Area, as well as helping to shape company strategy in the region.
Treaster brings nearly 20 years of experience in commercial real estate investment and most recently served as a managing director for Nuveen’s U.S. Strategic Lab Vehicle. Earlier, she was Nuveen’s Northwest Regional Head of Office, overseeing transactions and asset management in the Bay Area, Seattle, Denver, and Salt Lake City.
