The former New York City home of the iconic singer and actress Lena Horne has been listed for the first time in more than 20 years for $1.2 million.

Mansion Global reports the 2,276-square-foot Tudor-Style house in the Addisleigh Park section of the St. Albans neighborhood in Queens was built in 1935 and includes six bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms. Horne lived at the property from 1946 to 1962, and the neighborhood was home to many prominent Black celebrities and professionals at a time when restrictive covenants created housing discrimination across the city.
The home received landmark status in 2011 and only changed hands twice after Horne sold it. It was last sold in 2004 for $460,000 to Camille Chin-Kee-Fatt, the director of administrative services at the New York City Council.
