A pair of residences prominently featured in popular television series have popped up in the news, with one being available for short-term rentals and another being sold to an Internet streaming star.
Fans of “Heated Rivalry” will soon have a chance to stay at the cottage that is the setting of the series’ final episode. Variety reports the six-room Barlochan Cottage in Torrence, Canada, will be available to rent on Airbnb starting March 3.
The property includes nearly 400 feet of private waterfront on Lake Muskoka, while the residence offers three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a rec room with a large-screen television and three theater chairs, and an exercise room with two machines, free weights, and a Murphy bed for extra sleepover guests.
Oddly, the Airbnb listing doesn’t identify the property as being featured in “Heated Rivalry,” which focuses on a romance between two male hockey players, but merely states it was “featured on a TV-hit show this season.”
Separately, TMZ reports the Albuquerque home that served as the exterior of “Breaking Bad” was purchased by Internet streamer Adin Ross for $1.3 million. Ross acquired the property after a bidding war drove up the home’s price from the $400,000 listing.
The four-bedroom, two-bathroom residence was originally listed in January 2025 at $4 million but was taken off the market after failing to generate any buyer interest. While the interior scenes for “Breaking Bad” were shot in a studio, Ross stated he planned to redesign the house so its interior will resemble the décor used in the series.
