Reality television star Kylie Jenner offered her 12 million YouTube subscribers a rare peek into the 5-acre property she purchased in 2020 for $15 million. But anyone expecting to see a residence worthy of a Hollywood celebrity were in for a big surprise.
TMZ reports the Hidden Hills mansion that Jenner is building at the site is nowhere near completed. It is still unclear what the dimensions of the residence will be – TMZ estimates it measures between 18,000 and 30,000 square feet.
During her video tour, Jenner tiptoed around rooms or outdoor spaces remain a mess of unfinished work, with construction materials lying around amid the star’s vague ideas of what the residence will look like.
While Jenner did not offer a timeline on when the home will become habitable, she expressed no concern that the property is still a work in minimal progress.
“I’m so excited – it feels like I’ve been working on this for so long,” she cooed. “I’m just ready for it to be done, and to move in.”
The property is one of several in Jenner’s considerable real estate portfolio, which includes other Hidden Hills homes plus a Holmby Hills mansion she acquired in 2020 for $36.5 million. This property was previously owned by singer/actress Miley Cyrus, who bought the site in 2015 and kept her horses there. Cyrus sold the property three years later and the buyer tore down the house at the site but never rebuilt.
