Equinix reported October 28 that third-quarter revenue climbed 11% year over year to $2.571 billion, while net income attributable to common shareholders increased 31% to $489 million. Annualized gross bookings reached $533 million, up 35%. The data-center operator said it expects to deliver nearly 40% more cabinets in 2026 than originally planned as demand grows for traditional computing and artificial intelligence workloads. Equinix raised its full-year revenue guidance to $10.325 billion to $10.365 billion and adjusted EBITDA guidance to $5.290 billion to $5.330 billion. It continues to expect $5 billion to $6 billion in total capital expenditures this year; the spending range was not newly raised in the October 28 announcement. Data centers are a growing commercial real estate sector, but expansion depends on access to power, land, financing and construction capacity. The company’s results illustrate robust digital-infrastructure demand even as other property sectors face financing pressures.
