Home sales in Alabama during June totaled 5,423 transactions, up 4.1% from May for the fifth consecutive month of increases, according to data from the Alabama Association of Realtors (AAR). However, sales were also down by 17.5% from one year earlier.
Alabama’s median sales price in June was $228,970, a 12.1% increase from May and a 1.2% uptick from June 2023. The sold volume was $1.31 billion in June was a 10.1% increase month-over-month but an 11.3% annual year-over-year decrease.
