Rocket Companies (NYSE: RKT) has appointed Alex Rampell as an independent director to its board of directors.
Rampell currently serves as general partner at Andreessen Horowitz, focusing on fintech investments. He also cofounded TrialPay, a transactional advertising and payments company serving some of the world’s largest digital goods and e-commerce clients, which was acquired by Visa in 2015. Most recently, Rampell has been an advocate of the responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI), focusing on its potential within the financial services space.
