After searching for Miami-area office space for nearly three years, Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) will soon open an office in Coral Gables.
Bisnow reported the high-tech giant has signed a 42,000-square-foot lease in the north tower of the Plaza Coral Gables that encompasses the property’s 11th and 12th floors, according to a Cushman & Wakefield office market report. The Plaza Coral Gables is a two-tower mixed-use project featuring 455,000 square feet office space, 165,000 square foot of retail space, a 242-key Loews hotel and 170 residences.
Apple’s new lease is the market’s second-largest new transaction for the first quarter.
