According to a recent survey from the National Association of Realtors (NAR), one of the top challenges buyers face in today’s housing market is finding a home that meets their needs. That’s largely because the inventory of homes for sale is so low today.
If you’re looking to buy a home, you may have noticed this yourself. But there is good news. Recent data shows more sellers are listing their houses this season, which may give you more options for your home search.
Sure, more houses, but at twice the price (only a slight exaggeration) plus increased mortgage interest rates – Doesn’t bode well, even if there is more inventory. Except for corporate buyers, who are snapping up inventory everywhere.
Time for States to take action. Individual homes are to be owned by individuals … not corporations. That is how they were zoned and intended. Get scavenger corporations the hell out of the private home business. They have but one purpose … to rip off Joe and Susie Sixpack. And that is not why the city approved that suburb or housing project.
What are they going to own next … our pets … our cars … our condoms … our toothbrushes … our spouses … our computers … our cell phones …???
