The owner of a luxury residence in Aspen is seeking to generate the first home sale in Colorado that goes above the $100 million level.

The Wall Street Journal reports the 8.4-acre estate located four miles from Aspen’s downtown has been listed for $105 million. The seller is a limited liability company tied to Florida car-dealership owner Terry Taylor, which acquired the estate in 2020 for $32 million.

The listed property spans roughly 18,400 square feet of living space across multiple properties including the main residence, a guest house and a caretaker’s house. The estate is located along the Roaring Fork River and includes mountain views.

Buyers who aren’t willing to purchase the full property have the option of buying a separate $72 million parcel featuring the main house or a $33 million parcel with the other structures.

This listing is the second time that an Aspen property had a nine-digit listing: in 2022, Detroit manufacturing executive Joel Tauber listed an Aspen home for $100 million, only to sell it earlier this year at a discounted $65 million.
