Beachwold Residential Acquires Connecticut Multifamily Complex for $78 Million

Beachwold Residential, a New York City-based investor and developer in multifamily properties, has acquired the 269-unit Millyard at Meadow Commons complex in Newington, Connecticut, for $78 million.

The Millyard complex was completed in 2025 and consists of three wood-framed buildings ranging from three to four stories and encompassing between about 101,000 and 105,000 square feet. The complex was roughly 85% occupied at the time of the sale.

Amenities at the complex include a heated swimming pool, picnic area, resident lounge, game room, fitness center and co-working spaces.

According to coverage in the Hartford Business Journal, the seller was a limited liability partnership tied to Criterion Development Partners.
