BrightSky Residential, a developer of single-family build-to-rent (BTR) communities, has begun leasing at Oaks at Wendell, a new 201-home townhome rental community in the Raleigh satellite town of Wendell, North Carolina.
According to the company, the community offers two-story townhomes designed with three- and four-bedroom plans that are sized from 1,699 to 1,938 square feet. Amenities include including a clubhouse with kitchen and media lounge, resort-style pool, pickleball court, dog park and other common open spaces.
“The ability to enjoy a high-quality home in a great neighborhood without the responsibilities of homeownership is an increasingly attractive option for today’s renters,” says Hamilton Stolpen, president of BrightSky’s Southeast Division. “The value proposition is also extremely attractive,” he adds, noting that residents can realize savings of up to 20% compared to the cost of homeownership.
