California Gov. Gavin Newsom and wife Jennifer Siebel Newsom have listed their Sacramento-area mansion for sale at $7.5 million.
The New York Post reports the 12,000-square-foot Fair Oaks home is located on an eight-acre parcel in a gated community. The listing for the seven-bedroom, 12-bathroom residence promises “an unparalleled combination of grandeur, comfort, and effortless entertaining, with a resort-style pool, full-size tennis court, private casita, and impressive 5,000-bottle wine cellar.”
Other amenities feature a wet bar, four fireplaces, a weight room, and “meticulously landscaped” grounds.
The property was acquired for $3.7 million in 2018 through an LLC tied to Newsom’s cousin Jeremy Scherer, who worked for the governor’s PlumpJack hospitality firm. The Newsoms also purchased a $9 million home in Marin County in 2024, which will be their primary residence after the governor’s term expires in January.
