CBRE Group, Inc. (NYSE:CBRE) announced that its board of directors has appointed CEO Robert Sulentic to the additional role of chairman of the board, effective immediately.
Sulentic has served as president and CEO of CBRE since December 2012. He succeeds Brandon Boze, who has served as chairman since May 2018 and will remain on the board. Shira Goodman, former CEO of Staples Inc. and a director since May 2019, has been appointed lead independent Director.
“Unifying the CEO and Chair roles will enable us to build on the company’s many accomplishments and drive its long-term strategy. I look forward to working even more closely with Bob in the years ahead,” said Goodman.
