3V Infrastructure, an electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure investor, owner, and operator, has signed a partnership with the commercial real estate services and investment firm CBRE (NYSE: CBRE).

In this partnership, CBRE will help match 3V with multifamily properties looking to provide residents with an EV charging amenity. CBRE will oversee the installation process, and 3V will finance, own, operate, and install additional charging as demand increases.

After addressing the infrastructure at multifamily properties, 3V Infrastructure will work with CBRE to expand access to charging at other real estate asset classes.

“Multifamily residents are increasingly expecting access to EV charging where they live. 3V is excited to partner with CBRE to provide property owners with this in-demand amenity—all at no cost to property owners,” said Aubrey Gunnels, CEO of 3V Infrastructure. “Our work together will eliminate the barriers of entry for property owners to provide EV charging risk-free, boosting resident satisfaction and establishing a stronger competitive edge.”

“Our partnership with 3V Infrastructure aligns with CBRE’s strategy of empowering property owners to best serve the needs of their residents,” added Mark Kerstens, vice president of EV charging solutions at CBRE. “3V’s unique business model allows property owners to quickly meet the growing demand for on-site EV charging. Using their extensive infrastructure experience, the 3V team takes the burden off property owners by providing capital, ownership, and operation of chargers on their behalf.”
