Christie’s International Real Estate has expanded its presence into the Mexican Caribbean and Yucatan Peninsula through a new agreement with the local brokerage firm Mexico Real Estate Group.
The brokerage firm will serve the states of Quintana Roo and Yucatan, including the popular resort and second-home destinations of Playa del Carmen, Cancun, Puerto Aventuras and Tulum. Later this year, the Playa del Carmen-based firm also plans to open an office in Merida, a luxury market known for its colonial architecture and proximity to Mayan ruins. with the opening of a new office.
To highlight its new affiliation with Christie’s International Real Estate, the brokerage is also changing its name to Christie’s International Real Estate Mexico Luxury Properties. The brokerage, which was founded in 2005, is owned and operated by Jason Waller and his wife Leah Campbell.
“The luxury market is very strong right now,” said Waller. “There is more demand for million-dollar homes than there is for studio and one-bedroom condos.”

What exactly are they selling! I find it a discredit to our industry when the image we present of ourselves as Realtors is less than professional!
Apparently that’s the new image of Christie’s
I agree! this Taradoes not look professional or maybe Christie’s image is changing?
I agree, I had to take a double take and wonder what are they selling, it’s not the most professional Real Estate picture, but maybe Christie’s image is changing.
Couldn’t believe my eyes. Extremely seedy look and appears one is looking for something other than real estate services. Don’t know if these people are the owners or models. No wonder some people think agents are less than professional
