Colin Fitzgibbons, President of Hunt Realty Investments, Dies at 46

Colin Fitzgibbons, president of Dallas-based Hunt Realty Investments LLC and a prominent figure in the North Texas commercial real estate industry, has died at age 46.

The cause of death was not announced. According to the Dallas News, Fitzgibbons had been combating cancer for the past few years.

Before joining Hunt in 2020, Fitzgibbons was an executive at KDC, and earlier in his career he was tenant rep broker for The Staubach Co. in New York City. Prior to his career in real estate, he was a sports reporter for the Washington Post.

Fitzgibbons also served on the boards of Downtown Dallas Inc., The Real Estate Council, and the North Texas chapter of NAIOP. He was also on the advisory board for the Robert and Margaret Folsom Institute for Real Estate at Southern Methodist University.
