Knoxville’s real estate market is hot. And not just residential sales. Knox News asked women in commercial real estate to share their observations on the state of the industry and what’s ahead for their businesses. 

Maribel Koella, CCIM, SIOR, FRICS, CRE, is co-owner and principal broker of NAI Koella | RM Moore, a nationally certified woman-owned, minority-owned (and first generation Mexican-American) business. Having logged more than four decades’ experience in the arena, she has acquired broad expertise across subspecialties in the field, with a primary focus on the industrial sector. She has advised and served on the boards of many nonprofit organizations over the years.

Solange G. Velas is a commercial realtor specializing in multifamily property sales in East Tennessee. She is a licensed broker, current president of her CCIM chapter, past president of the Apartment Association of Knoxville and has been selling multifamily for over 25 years in the East Tennessee market.
