A condominium apartment in New York City’s Billionaires’ Row has reportedly sold for about $80 million.
The Wall Street Journal, sourcing its coverage from “two people familiar with the situation,” reported the 8,000-square-foot apartment at 220 Central Park South was sold by a company tied to the New York-based investment firm Nima Capital, which is owned by entrepreneur and investor Suna Said. The company purchased the apartment in 2020 for $65.59 million; the Journal was unable to identify the buyer.
This is the latest eight-digit transaction within the luxury high-rise complex. In May, a 64th floor condominium in 220 Central Park South was reported to be under contract to sell for $75 million in an off-market transaction – the 6,000-square-foot unit was acquired in 2020 by 220 CPS 64, a Delaware-based limited liability company, for $54 million.
