TerraCRG, a Brooklyn-based brokerage focused on the borough’s commercial real estate market, announced the promotion of partner Dan Marks to CEO.
Marks succeeds Ofer Cohen, the company’s founder, who will become chairman. Marks has been with TerraCRG for more than 12 years and was appointed partner of the firm in 2016. Earlier in his career, Marks was a partner at Emerald Real Estate Group, a commercial real estate management and brokerage firm located in Boulder, Colorado.
TerraCRG promotes itself as the only commercial real estate brokerage and advisory firm focused exclusively on the Brooklyn market. Cohen founded the company in the first quarter of 2008 after working as a senior broker at Massey Knakal’s Brooklyn office. Before his career in real estate, he was was involved with several tech-startups and served in the Israeli Defense Forces.
