Equus Capital Partners, a Philadelphia-headquartered private equity real estate fund management firm, announced that Chairman Daniel DiLella has been appointed Honorary Consul of the Republic of San Marino in Delray Beach, Florida, with jurisdiction over the states of Florida, Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina.

In this role, DiLella will serve as one of four consular representatives who promote relations between San Marino and the USA, with a focus on trade, tourism, and investment. The appointment is the latest for DiLella, who also serves on the boards of the National Italian American Foundation, the Museum of the American Revolution, and the U.S. Semiquincentennial Commission.

“I am honored to serve as Honorary Consul to the Republic of San Marino in Florida,” said DiLella. “Florida is the third most populous state within the United States and is a state with growing importance. It is a fertile territory to promote the business interests of the Republic of San Marino and I look forward to promoting tourism between our regions and advancing international trade.”
