eXp World Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: AGNT) has announced an expansion of its brokerage network in California and Canada.
In California, the company’s NextHome subsidiary launched two new Southern California brokerages through its large-office franchise model: NextHome Coastal Estates and NextHome Central Coast. The offices are owned by Albert Meggers and encompass nearly 200 agents serving the state’s Central Coast and Ventura County markets.
“NextHome has built something genuinely differentiated in the franchise space — a model that puts the operator first and a culture that agents are proud to be part of,” said James Dwiggins, president of NextHome. “The launch of NextHome Coastal Estates and NextHome Central Coast is a strong signal of what’s possible when an experienced operator finds the right partner. Albert and his teams are exactly the kind of leaders this model was built for, and we could not be more excited to welcome them to NextHome.”
Separately, the company’s eXp Realty Canada subsidiary announced Initia Real Estate, a major brokerage organization with approximately 1,000 agents and support staff, has transitioned to eXp as Initia, brokered by eXp. The Edmonton-headquartered Initia operates a network across Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario, along with US offices in Florida and Michigan and a Latin American presence in Colombia and Mexico.
“Initia is exactly the kind of organization that represents the future of real estate in Canada,” said Nadia Habib, managing director of eXp Realty Canada. “They have built a strong brand, a connected culture and a clear commitment to helping agents grow.”
