The US General Services Administration (GSA) is seeking an entity to take over the historic Light Station Boston, commonly known as Boston Light.
Located on Little Brewster Island in Boston Harbor, the 310-year-old property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The property offered by the GSA includes Little Brewster Island and six separate structures: the lighthouse tower, a boathouse, a keeper’s house, a sound signal building, a cistern building, and a small oil house.
The GSA is making the property available at no cost to federal, state, and local agencies, nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, and community development organizations. For property details and application information, review the Notice of Availability.
