A familiar figure in DIY home repair television programming is going off camera to begin a new career as a realtor.
Entertainment Now reports that Clint Harp, the former carpenter on HGTV’s “Fixer Upper” and the star of his own show “Restoration Road” on Magnolia Network, is now selling homes in Waco, Texas.
“New journey. New chapter,” said Harp in an Instagram post. “So excited to partner with my friend Jonathan to build the 254 Realty Group under the family of Camille Johnson Realtors. Camille is that same Realtor I met with Kelly over 13 years ago when we dreamed of flipping an old pink house we had no business buying … and yet she was still kind, helpful, and impactful. Now she’s my sponsoring broker as I take off on this new chapter with my real estate license in hand.”
Harp added, “With the 254 Realty Group, we’re building an experience where every client, at every price point, will receive the highest level of care. If you’re moving to, within, or out of Waco or the surrounding areas, please reach out! I’d love to walk with you on the next part of your journey.”
Harp, who also authored the book “Handcrafted: A Woodworker’s Story,” created furniture at his Harp Design Company that was featured on “Fixer Upper,” and that show’s stars Chip and Joanna Gaines renovated a home for Harp and his wife in an episode that proved to be a little too popular for comfort – the couple turned the property into an Airbnb after receiving uninvited visits by fans.
Harp closed his business in January 2023 and “Restoration Road” ended its six-season run in December 2023.
