Christie’s International Real Estate announced the appointment of Gavin Swartzman as its new president.
Swartzman previously served as CEO of Toronto-based Peerage Realty Partners from January 2014 through last March. Prior to Peerage, he spent 10 years at MDC Partners Inc. as a managing director. He also served as senior vice president at Amadeus Credit Corporation and president of Credit Realty Group of Companies.
Swartzman succeeds Natalie Hamrick and Kevin Van Eck, who served as co-presidents of the company from September 2023 through last March. Hamrick departed Christie’s to become a senior vice president at Anywhere Real Estate and Van Eyck became a principal at Maverix Advisory Group.
