Tekmak Development Company, a Dallas-based hospitality development company, has promoted Glenn Decker from vice president of operations to president.
Decker succeeds Thomas Kirkland, who will remain as CEO. Prior to joining Tekmak in 2022, Decker spent six years in various marketing operations and analytics positions for USAA. He was also the founding president of the Texas Business Hall of Fame Alumni Association.
“I welcome the opportunity to continue maximizing the potential in our existing hotels, improving the way we execute our projects currently under development and identifying markets where new projects will prosper,” Decker said. “Texas has incredible economic and demographic tailwinds, and some of the largest benefactors will be markets and communities similar to the ones where Tekmak hotels currently thrive.
