Britney Spears’ mansion in Thousand Oaks, California, was listed for sale on Monday for nearly $9 million, but there was one itty-bitty problem – her home isn’t for sale.
TMZ reported someone hacked into a multiple listing service (MLS) and put the singer’s 21-acre property and its 12,464-square-foot residence up for sale without her knowledge. The listing was picked up by other sites including Realtor.com and Zillow.
Spears’ management team was alerted to the listing, which cited several prominent Los Angeles real estate agents as the representatives for the property. The agents were contacted and said they were unaware of the listing.
The property has since been taken off the MLS and the real estate sites, while the identity of the hacker behind the mischief remains unknown.

“BREAKING NEWS” Zillow forwards multiple leads to agents from new Thousand Oaks listing….agents were shocked when Justin Beiber answered the phone on the 2nd ring!!
We RE agents pay for the MLS
as a private information site and now anyone can get into the MLs
What is wrong here?? NAR is not taking care of their members. In my opinion
It isn’t NARs fault, it is the local California MLS that was hacked which is separate from NAR.
