A historic estate in Virginia that has been on the market for nearly eight years was sold for $20 million.
FauquierNow.com reports the North Wales Estate in Faquier spans 1,482 acres across six parcels.
The estate’s mansion was built between 1776 and 1796 and encompasses 22 bedrooms and 14.5 bathrooms; the property includes eight additional dwellings, including a carriage house, pond house and multiple tenant homes, along with a 75-stall equestrian facility and a mix of wooded, agricultural, and open land. The estate is on both the Virginia Landmarks Register and the National Register of Historic Places.
The property was first listed for $33 million in March 2017 with McLean Faulconer Realtors of Charlottesville. In May 2022, it was re-listed with TTR Sotheby’s International Realty for $25 million. According to land-transfer records, the property was sold by Warrenton LLC to Catamount Farms LLC.

What a deal!! With all those extra buildings, think about the rent you could capture for owning the place.
That’s it? Nothing else to say about the place?
