The Houston residence known as the “Darth Vader house” because of its resemblance to the “Star Wars” villain’s helmet has been sold for $3.4 million.
KHOU.com reports the property was designed by architect for a local surgeon who was a big-time “Star Wars” fan. The residence was built in 1992 and has four bedrooms and five bathrooms.
The property last changed hands in 2021 when it was listed at $4.3 million and sold for an undisclosed sum to a real estate agent named Jason Junkin, who intended to sell it. While the property generated a great deal of news coverage for its distinctive design, the Force wasn’t with Junkin for the last three years – the property has been on and off the market for the last three years, listed both for sale with several price cuts and as a rental.
