February 4, 2023 (Staff Writer)- The MIAMI Association of Realtors (MIAMI) installed 2023 MIAMI Chairman of the Board Ines Hegedus-Garcia, C2EX at its Inaugural & Awards Celebration on Feb. 3 in Hollywood, Florida.

“I am honored and privileged to have been elected chairman of an innovative, forward-thinking and member-driven association,” Hegedus-Garcia said. “MIAMI REALTORS® is led by 112 selfless, volunteer leaders that represent every local South Florida market and real estate specialty. I look forward to an exciting year where MIAMI professionals and volunteer leaders continue Miami’s mission to be the business and public policy advocate for Realtors.”

Hegedus-Garcia is a long-time MIAMI REALTORS® leader. She served as the 2019 MIAMI residential president. She is at the forefront of the prop-tech industry due to her industry leadership and hands-on approach to technology adoption.

Hegedus-Garcia has been identified by the National Association of REALTORS® as a thought leader because of her progressive ideas about real estate. She is a highly sought-after global speaker and is often called up to speak on her success in leadership and her early adoption of using social media to develop her brand identity. 

She is also a NAR and Florida REALTORS® director. Hegedus-Garcia is the 2023 chair of NAR’s federal technology committee and sits on the board of directors of Second Century Ventures, NAR’s capital venture arm. She is also the vice-chair of the Board Leadership Forum for Florida REALTORS® and was the 2022 chair of the communications committee.

Hegedus-Garcia is bilingual and carries a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Miami. She is a published author whose articles can be found each month on Miamism.com
