New York City-based Vornado Realty Trust (NYSE:VNO) has hired Jason Kirschner as executive vice president and head of capital markets.
Kirschner will report to Michael Franco, Vornado’s president and chief financial officer. He brings more than 20 years of experience in financing both existing buildings and new developments, particularly in Manhattan, and has sourced and executed over $35 billion of real estate financings.
Prior to joining Vornado, Kirschner was managing director for finance and capital markets at Hudson Realty Capital, an RXR affiliate. Earlier in his career, he was senior vice president for finance and capital markets at Brookfield Properties.
