Jeffrey Jackson, president of California’s Orange County Association of Realtors, passed away on May 1 at the age of 65 following a bout with cancer.
Jackson was a senior risk manager at Realty One Group who was elected last July to a one-year term as the association’s president. An Indiana native, he moved to California in 2010 and worked as a real estate professional in Orange County beginning in 2014, initially with First Team Real Estate and then with RE/MAX Premier before joining Realty One in 2019.
In addition to his leadership with the Orange County Association of Realtors, Jackson was a state director for the California Association of Realtors and a federal political coordinator with the National Association of Realtors. He also served on the board of directors for the Orange County Chapter of the American Red Cross.
What a sadness! Jeff was such an advocate for homeowners rights and represented the best qualities of a true civic minded professional. It is such a loss for OCR and all of Region 32.
Rest in peace Jeff.
