Mortgage originator and YouTube personality Jennifer Beeston has debuted her new, free “60-Minute Homebuyer” course designed to provide financial literacy to prospective homeowners.
Now available at www.60minhomebuyer.com, the course offers an overview on how credit scores work, how to create a realistic budget, understanding the mortgage pre-approval process, appreciating the role of a real estate agent and other professionals in the home purchase transaction, and what to look for in a house including red flag warnings on what to avoid.
“I’ve seen firsthand how a little bit of knowledge can make a huge difference in someone’s ability to buy a home,” said Beeston, an executive vice president of national sales at Rate. “My goal with this course is to give everyone, no matter their background, the tools and confidence to begin their homeownership journey. When people truly understand the process, they will succeed.”
