Rapper Kendrick Lamar has paused his public feud with music rival Drake to close on a $40 million estate in the Brentwood section of Los Angeles.

The Wall Street Journal, citing unnamed “people familiar with the deal,” first reported the sale of the 0.84-acre property, which features a Farmhouse-style 16,000-square-foot residence with nine bedrooms and 15 bathrooms, along with a wine cellar, gym, media room, spa and an elevator. The property also includes a swimming pool and 925-square-foot guest house.

The transaction was an off-market deal and seller was a trust tied to Viet D. Dinh, a former chief legal and policy officer at Fox Corp. who served as Assistant Attorney General of the Office of Legal Policy at the Department of Justice during the George W. Bush administration. Dinh acquired the property in 2019 for $19.5 million.
