Lamacchia Realty is expanding its presence across Massachusetts with the acquisition of Springfield-based Sears Real Estate.
Lamacchia Realty plans to continue to use the Sears Real Estate name along with Lamacchia Realty for at least a year during the branding transition. The company is also embarking on a marketing campaign that will feature television and newspaper advertising, billboards on the Massachusetts Turnpike and other major roadways, social media posts and postcards.
This marks Lamacchia Realty’s fourth acquisition in Massachusetts in the past nine months, with the prior acquisitions in Falmouth with Foley Real Estate, Fall River with Right Choice Real Estate, and Seekonk with Keystone Property Group. Lamacchia Realty also operates offices in Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and South Florida.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Among the new members of the Lamacchia team is Kevin Sears, the president of the National Association of Realtors.
