Dallas-headquartered Title Resources Group (TRG) has announced a leadership change with the appointment of Kevin Wall as CEO and a member of the board of the directors. J. Scott McCall, who served as CEO since 2009, will take on the position of vice chairman of the board of directors. Both executive leadership changes will be effective as of July 28.
Wall most recently served as co-president of First American Title Insurance Company, where he led seven operating units and global operations spanning more than 7,500 employees. Prior to his tenure at First American, he held senior leadership roles at Fortress Investment Group, Nationstar, CoreLogic and Wells Fargo Financial.
“Kevin’s proven ability to lead large, complex organizations and deliver results through innovation and operational excellence makes him the ideal leader for TRG’s next phase,” said Alan Colberg, chairman of the board. “His deep industry expertise, client-first mindset, and track record of building high-performing teams will be invaluable as TRG continues to expand its national footprint and deliver best-in-class solutions to our partners and customers.”
Kolberg added, “Scott is an accomplished business executive and strong leader who has guided TRG to be the dynamic underwriter it is today. He has cultivated a people-valued, customer-centric organization with long-standing unique partnerships in all facets of the real estate industry. We look forward to Scott continuing this legacy in his new role on the board.”
