SmartRent Inc. (NYSE: SMRT), a Scottsdale, Arizona-based provider of smart operations solutions for the rental housing industry, has appointed Frank Martell, president and CEO of loanDepot Inc. (NYSE: LDI), to its board of directors.
Martell will serve on the board’s audit and nominating and corporate governance committees. In announcing the appointment, SmartRent highlighted Martell’s real estate technology experience with the development of his company’s Vision 2025 strategic program, his years of leadership at the real estate data analytics firm CoreLogic and his work as a director at Martell at Compass Inc., a technology driven residential real estate brokerage.
