Domesticity doyenne Martha Stewart has expanded her media empire with the launch of Hint, a new company offering an artificial intelligence (AI)-fueled platform that handles home management tasks.

The platform, which launches this summer, enables users to enter their address. From that location alone, Hint brings together data on the property, along with climate zone, soil, and flood risk information. In promoting Hint, Stewart and her partners – including co-founder and CEO Yih-Han Ma and co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Kyle Rush – declare users can benefit from the “knowledge of contractors, adjusters, designers, builders.”

Hint is launching with a $10 million seed round led by Slow Ventures, with participation from Montauk Capital — which incubated Hint through its venture studio platform —Tusk Venture Partners, Amplo, Energy Impact Partners, Hannah Grey VC, and Brian Kelly, founder of The Points Guy.

“I have always been passionate about showing people how to care for and beautify their homes,” said Stewart in a statement. “Hint brings that philosophy to more people, making the knowledge and expertise behind thoughtful homeownership accessible to everyone. Empowering people to make their home a place they love and one of their smartest investments is core to Hint.”
