The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) announced the appointment of David Menke as director of member relations.
In his new role, Menke will manage MBA’s portfolio of residential member companies, overseeing and strengthening member engagement with key leaders and identifying opportunities for MBA to better support their business efforts.
Menke comes to the MBA from CapStar Bank, where he served as vice president of secondary marketing. Prior to that, he led the secondary markets functions at Franklin Synergy Bank. Menke is the president of the Tennessee Mortgage Bankers Association and was president of the Nashville Mortgage Bankers Association in 2020.
“David’s extraordinary people skills and his extensive knowledge of the mortgage industry, backed by two decades of experience, make him the perfect choice to fill this role,” said Laura Hopkins, MBA’s vice president of membership. “I look forward to him joining our exceptional member relations team and enhancing our member engagement initiatives.”
