New York City-based Melius Research has hired Michael Rehaut as a managing director and head of housing research.
Rehaut joins the firm from JPMorgan, where he spent the last 24 years as a senior analyst in the equity research department covering the homebuilding and building products sector. Earlier in his career, he was a senior equity research analyst at Salomon Smith Barney and an investment banking associate at NatWest Markets.
“Housing is a thematic that we believe will continue to rise in relevance for the investment community,” said Scott Davis, CEO of Melius Research. “Like many of our sector leaders, Mike will bring a unique, holistic approach to coverage across homebuilders, building products manufacturers, distributors and home centers.”
