Atlanta-headquartered Angel Oak Capital Advisors LLC has named Namit Sinha as chief investment officer (CIO), effective on March 31.
Sinha has served as CIO of the firm’s private strategies division since February 2020. He joined Angel Oak in 2018 as head of mortgage strategies. Earlier in his career, he was senior vice president at Canyon Capital and executive director of mortgage trading at Nomura Securities.
“Namit will serve as an excellent CIO for Angel Oak Capital Advisors and brings valuable insight from the private strategies side that will be instrumental in leading the full investment management team and charting the investment landscape for 2024 and beyond,” said Angel Oak Capital Co-CEO and Group CIO Sreeni Prabhu. “Our vision was to create a more integrated investment management platform where the best minds of Angel Oak can work together for the benefit of our clients and Namit will be exemplary in unlocking that potential.”
